Responsibilities

• Master the art of managing client intake meetings & site surveys; bonus points for reading clients' minds.
• Brainstorm and propose creative solutions that make even the office plants jealous.
• Prepare 3D renders and present winning designs to clients; virtual reality goggles provided for added drama.
• Develop design/detailed drawings that speak the language of aesthetics and functionality fluently.
• Prepare a color scheme and material board that tells a story without words.
• Source competitive quotes/materials/samples; must have a black belt in bargaining.
• Prepare Construction Specification/Design Documentation/Sample Board; because every great design needs a script.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent (A degree in Jedi Mind Tricks also accepted).
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in the high-end residential sector, where turning spaces into dreams is a daily routine.
• Creative conceptual design ability with a flair for winning designs; bonus points for making office spaces look like Instagram-worthy heavens.
• Able to work under tight schedules, juggle colors like a magician, and dance with deadlines without stepping on any toes.
• Experience in technical/detailed co-ordination and drawing; can read blueprints without getting lost in the lines.
• Skilled in space planning, conceptual design, interior detailing, and proficient in AutoCad, Photoshop & Sketchup, Powerpoint, Excel, and any other design software that's not from the Stone Age.
• A good team player who can lead the design orchestra; must be proactive, multitask like a one-person circus, and take pride in seeing projects to completion.
